Why are you having two events?

We want to make sure we have enough time at each event to really take in the moment and spend quality time with our guests. By separating the events, we get the opportunity to be more in the moment.

Where should I stay for the reception?

There is accommodation information on the Reception page. You can look into cabin or AirBnB rentals, or reach out to Gillian to stay at the Camp.

What should I wear?

We’d love to see our guests in Garden Party attire! For the ladies, think dresses or skirts and for the men, a suit or pants and a dress shirt. Please no jeans, shorts or tuxedos.

When should I arrive at Emma Lake?

The reception will be happening in the evening, so you could arrive on the Saturday. The lake is beautiful this time of year, so making a weekend of it isn’t a bad plan either!

Are kids welcome?

We have decided to keep our wedding adults-only, with the exception to immediate family and close friends whose children are named on their invitation.

Can I bring a plus one?

We’re so excited to celebrate this special occasion with our closest family and friends. As we’re keeping these events intimate, only those formally invited on your invitation email can be accommodated.
